This site has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment boxes, so it never asks you for your name, address or payment details. Reading a crossing page does not require you to give us anything.
Some information is still collected automatically. The pages load Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar identifiers to show and measure advertisements and may personalise them depending on your settings. Google's use of that data is described in its own policy, and you can change ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com or block third-party cookies in your browser. For audience figures the only tool we use or plan to use is Umami, a self-hosted counter that records page views and referring sites in aggregate, sets no cookies and builds no profile of individual visitors; if it is switched on, it will be the only analytics on the site.
The server that delivers the pages, and the Cloudflare network in front of it, keep short technical logs (IP address, browser type, time and address requested) to keep the site running and to stop abuse. Those logs are not used for marketing and are kept only as long as they serve that purpose.
Because readers of this site are in Canada, we handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You can ask what information about you we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
The site is run from Spain by Alberto R., Travessera de Gràcia 20, 08024 Barcelona, which means data may also be processed in the European Union under the GDPR, and by Google and Cloudflare in other countries. If this policy changes, the new version will replace this page.
